Roof Survey Diagrams
|
|
Definition: A technical illustration of individual buildings
within the Roof Report designed to identify specific details of conditions
requiring immediate and/or future attention, their location on the building
and type of repairs being identified.
A technical diagram or AutoCad drawing of each building in the report is a
single page illustration providing block diagrams of the aggregate
roof with measurements and equipment positions.
Roof diagrams provide an illustrative overview of items identified by the
Technical Consultant as needing attention. The diagram is marked up with
Roof Repairs Codes that identify waterproof system components, their
location on the roof and the type of failure that has occured or is developing.
The Roof Diagram is developed so construction and other service personnel can
quickly identify where and what repairs the buildings' Project Manager wants to
address during each maintenance phase.
Roof Diagrams document and summarize waterproof component deficiencies on
each building surveyed and include:
- The Roof Envelope: Layout and Measurements
- Roof Mounted Equipment: Relative Location and Size
- Technical Consultants Findings Mapped
- Repair Codes Identifying the Type of Repairs Required
